Catskill Neighbors

The problem

Catskill Neighbors, a Catskill-area senior services nonprofit, was running on an aging WordPress site (Twenty Eleven/2015 theme, jQuery, Slider WD, Jetpack) that was slow and hard for staff to maintain.

What we did

Hand-built a PHP and SQLite platform: a lightweight public site, a full admin portal with live-preview page editing and a media library, a volunteer and client CRM with scheduling and reporting, and complete on-page SEO: canonical URLs, Open Graph and Twitter cards, and JSON-LD structured data, giving the client a faster, more accessible site they can run themselves.

The problem

Holy Smocks needed a welcoming site for a free Thursday-night art club in Princeton, Texas: clear when and where to show up, easy navigation for newcomers, and branding that feels warm without overwhelming the message.

What we did

Custom homepage with bold accessible color and type, event ticker, and pages for blog, calendar, location, and contact. Built to stay fast on phones and simple for volunteers to update through the content system.
